Project Overview

Attire Hub is a fast-growing DTC clothing brand. The client wanted to expand beyond their web store by launching native iOS and Android mobile apps. The apps needed to support push notifications, visual search, and quick Apple/Google Pay checkouts.

The Challenge

To maximize mobile sales, product images must render instantly. Slow image loading on cellular data is the primary reason users uninstall shopping apps. The application needed to cache product layouts locally and handle image loading in the background on slower 4G connections.

Our Solution

We built two native apps in parallel: using Swift for iOS and Kotlin for Android. We integrated secondary background thread image decoders and structured local caches (using Realm DB) to pre-load catalog grids before the user opens sub-categories.

We also wired push notifications linked to abandoned carts and integrated native Apple Pay and Google Pay APIs to reduce the checkout flow to a single fingerprint touch.

Key Deliverables & Results

  • Page Load Time: Reduced screen rendering delay to under 0.8 seconds.
  • Push Campaigns: Increased cart recovery by 22% via targeted push cues.
  • Checkout Speed: Fingerprint checkout reduced purchasing time by 70%.
  • Engagement Rate: Average session duration grew by 45% compared to mobile web.
